Characteristics

Inflorescences 1–4, 3–7 cm long, 5–17-flowered. Bracts sheathing, blackish, c. 1 mm long. Rhachis markedly zigzag, the flowers set c. 3 mm apart.

Roots 30–40 cm long, 2–4 mm in diameter, ± flattened with a slight ridge on top, green with white pneumophores, clinging tightly to substrate.
Dorsal sepal 5 × 4 mm, ovate, hood-like; lateral sepals 5 × 2.5 mm, obliquely ovate, spreading.
Lip 6 × 3 mm, ovate, acute or apiculate, the apex slightly deflexed, the margins undulate.
Sepals and petals khaki-beige, lip white with 2 green tubercles at the base.
