Characteristics

Shrub or dwarf shrub, 100-600 mm high, with clear sap. Stems whitish grey to green. Leaves slightly fleshy; blade cordate-deltoid to narrowly ovate-elliptic, 2-8 x 1-4 mm. Flowers: inflorescence 1-6-flowered; corolla urceolate, truncate, tube narrowing to mouth, 2-4 x 1.53.0 mm, lobes 0.6-1.0 mm long, spirally twisted, yellow to green-yellow, sometimes paler towards base; Aug.-May. Fruit a follicle.
