Characteristics

Leaf 100–500 × 7–10 mm. Inflorescence 200–900 mm long, 10–60-flowered. Flowers nodding, 5–8 × 3–4 mm, white, with a strong, musky scent. Dorsal sepal porrect, strongly hooding column, 4–5 × 2–2.5 mm, apex pointed, recurved. Lateral sepals inrolled beside labellum, narrowly oblong-obovate, 3–4 × 1–1.5 mm, apex sharply pointed. Petals narrowly oblong, 3–4 × 1.2 mm, spreading or incurved, often curved, blunt. Labellum porrect at base then sharply decurved, wedge-shaped, 4–8 × 1–2 mm, margins folded or crinkled, thickened; apex deeply notched, with 2 divergent crinkly lobes each up to 3 mm long. Basal callus with 2 comma-shaped lobes on rectangular plate; apical callus an irregular cluster of cells.
