Characteristics

Leaf filiform, 30–90 × 3 mm, often yellowish green, solid. Flower stem 50–120 mm long, thin, 2–40-flowered. Flowers resupinate, densely packed on swollen, stalkless ovaries c. 2 × 2 mm, faintly fragrant, yellowish green ageing to black. Dorsal sepal porrect, concave, c. 1 × 1 mm, hooding column. Lateral sepals oblong-elliptical, c. 0.9 × 0.5 mm, widely divergent. Petals oblong-obovate, c. 0.7 × 0.4 mm, spreading or deflexed. Labellum decurved in front of ovary, oblong to elliptic, c. 1.3 × 0.7 mm, blunt. Callus consiting of a dark green basal mound and rows of tiny papillae.
