Characteristics

Leaf 200–500 × 4–6 mm. Inflorescence 300–600 mm long, 20–60-flowered. Pedicels c. 2 mm long. Flowers widely spaced, 4–4.5 × 2–2.3 mm, light green to yellowish green, scented. Dorsal sepal 3–3.5 × 2–2.5 mm, obliquely erect, ending in long curved sharp point. Lateral sepals oblong, 2.3–2.5 × 0.5 mm, incurved to inrolled, bluntly pointed. Petals narrowly linear, 2.3–2.5 × 0.4 mm, shallowly falcate, held within dorsal sepal or beside it, blunt. Labellum recurved against ovary, oblong-obovate, 2.5–3 × 1.3–1.6 mm, distinctly constricted near middle and expanded near apex, margins irregular with numerous cell clusters, apex shallowly and broadly notched. Basal callus of 2 closely fused, dark green mounds; apical callus large, round or sometimes quadrate.

Grows among grass in open areas of tall karri and jarrah forest, in moist to wet soils in low-lying areas and on margins of swamps.
