Characteristics

Leaf 100–250 × 3–4 mm. Inflorescence 200–350 mm long, 8–50-flowered. Pedicels c. 1 mm long. Flowers almost globular, with incurved sepals, 2.5–3 × 2.5 mm, pale green to yellowish green. Dorsal sepal porrect, c. 2 × 2 mm, strongly hooded, ribbed, shortly pointed. Lateral sepals incurved, ovate/triangular, c. 2 × 1.2 mm, overlapping base of dorsal sepal. Petals narrowly oblong, c. 1.2 × 0.6 mm, blunt, enclosed within sepals. Labellum recurved, nearly dumbbell-shaped, c. 2 × 1 mm, broadest at base, strongly constricted near middle, widening near apex, margins entire, (no cell clusters); apex blunt or notched. Basal callus large, more or less rectangular, raised, fleshy; apical callus vestigial, sometimes just a small roughened area.
