Characteristics

Ephemeral herb, erect, to 10 cm high. Stem scapose, hispidulous. Leaves spathulate, 3–4 mm long, 2–3 mm wide, densely hirsute above. Flowers in terminal and axillary simple umbellate clusters; pedicels to 30 mm long. Calyx cylindrical to campanulate, glabrous; tube c. 0.5 mm long; lobes c. 0.5 mm long. Corolla probably white; tube c. 3 mm long; lobes c. 1 mm long, truncate. Stamens c. 0.5 mm long; anthers horseshoe-shaped, with white-ciliate apices; dehiscence latrorse. Capsule globular, c. 1.5 mm long; fruiting style not seen.
