Characteristics

Ephemeral herb, erect, to c. 6 cm high; all parts membranous, glabrous. Stem scapose. Leaves spathulate, 7–25 mm long, 1.5–5 mm wide. Flowers in terminal and axillary compound umbellate clusters; pedicels to 8 mm long. Calyx campanulate; tube c. 0.5 mm long; lobes c. 0.5 mm long. Corolla with tube apricot and lobes white; tube 1.5–2 mm long; lobes c. 0.5 mm long. Stamens c. 0.9 mm long; filaments swollen at base; anthers apiculate; dehiscence latrorse. Capsule globular, c. 1.2 mm long; fruiting style c. 0.5 mm long.
