Small, sparsely branched, epiphytic orchid with long, coarse roots. Stem slender, fibrous, leafy. Racemes short, arising from the stem opposite a leaf. Flowers resupinate, small, dull-coloured, tip hooked. Sepals free, similar. Petals slightly shorter and narrower than sepals. Labellum hinged to apex of column foot. Labellum lamina 3-lobed; lateral lobes well-developed; midlobe vestigial; spur fleshy. Column incurved with a short basal foot. Pollinia 4 in 2 appressed pairs, hard, waxy, orange, stalked, attached via short, broad stipe to large viscidium.
