Characteristics

Plants 250-600 mm high. Stem simple or more often branched from upper axils. Rhipidial spathes: inner (30-)40-70 mm long, outer ± half as long. Flowers white to creamy white, outer tepal limbs with brown to yellow-speckled nectar guides at bases, outer tepal claws yellow-speckled ± black, inner tepals ± brown; outer tepals 25-30 x ± 15 mm, limbs orbicular, nearly as wide as long, claws 3-5 mm wide at midpoint, pubescent, inner tepals 10-12 mm long (excluding central cusp), central lobe of limb slender, obliquely coiled inward, 3-5 mm long. Filaments 6-7 mm long, united in lower 2/3 to almost entirely; anthers ± 5 mm long. Ovary ± ellipsoid-ovoid, 8-12 mm long; style branches 4-7 mm long, crests 4-7 mm long. Capsules 18-25 mm long.
