Flowers purple, lilac, pink or occasionally creamy green, outer tepals limbs with prominent purple or turquoise green nectar guides, spreading, often slightly below horizontal, claws yellow; outer tepals 30-40 x 20-25 mm, claws 8-12 mm long. Filaments ± 5 mm long; anthers 6-8 mm long, occasionally exceeding stigma lobe, mauve; pollen orange. Ovary often dull red.
