Characteristics

Bracts 1.5-2.0 mm. long, concave, broadly ovate or deltoid, obtuse, or somewhat acute and mucronate, minutely ciliolate, midrib and lateral veins evident. Flowers white; carina dark purple, sessile. Sepals elliptical, chaff-like, ciliolate, midrib conspicuous, outer pair concave, inner pair almost flat. Side petals widest near middle, shorter than carina. Flowering time May?
