Tendrils simple or 2-branched. Leaves broadly ovate; lamina 3–7 cm long, 4–9 cm wide, deeply 5-lobed; lobes ovate, entire or pinnately lobulate, mucronate, sparsely pubescent. Male flowers in few-flowered, sparsely branched panicles or racemes 3–15 cm long; peduncle 15–50 mm long; pedicel 2–6 mm long, glandular hairy; calyx-lobes narrowly triangular, 0.7–1 mm long; corolla-lobes ovate, 1–2 mm long, acute, pale yellow. Female flowers: pedicels 3–5 mm long; ovary 2–3 mm long. Fruit 18–25 mm long, glandular-hairy; pedicel 8–14 mm long. Seeds 4–6 mm long; wing 8–10 mm long.
