Characteristics

Minute, perennial, dwarf mat-forming succulent, up to 0.02 m high, rooting at nodes. Leaves succulent, club-shaped, apex covered with white, warty outgrowths. Flowers solitary, pale yellow to cream-coloured, sometimes tipped with pink, scented, opening at night. Flowering time Sept.-Jan. Capsules 4-or 5-locular, valve wings absent, covering membranes absent, expanding keels parallel, closing bodies absent.
