Parents were spineless red-and spiny green-fruited cultivars vaguely described in the patent. USPP 21,760; 8 Mar. 2011. Tree: Fruit: peel red; flesh reddish-pink; pulp firmness high, 1.5 kg·cm-2; Brix high, 14.8°; pulp ratio high, 59%; fruit size small, 125 g. Plant: cladodes narrow, obovate; occasionally 7 mm long spines occur on the margins and flat surfaces of the cladodes; in Salinas Valley, CA, fruits ripen September-March.
