Characteristics

Leaves 5 or 6, linear, flat or concave, to c. 80 cm long and 30 mm wide, dying back by flowering time. Inflorescence a loose corymb with 6-25 cup-shaped flowers, exceeding leaves; lower pedicels to 60 mm long, upper shorter. Perianth segments 20-30 mm long, white, unstriped. Stamens with filaments entire. Ovary obovoid to subglobose, black-violet. Capsule cylindrical.
