Involucri squamae 7-10 in statu florendi subhiseriatae in fructificatione uniseriatae fere aequilongae (lineari-)lanceolatae-ovatae 3-6(-8) mm longae 1-2.5 mm latae acuminatae margine albido-scariosae ciliatae dorso glandulosae, glandulis saepius stipitatis. Flores radii involucri squamas numero aequantes; ligulae flavae interdum subtus passim violacentes aut lilacinae involucrum non vel parum (1-2 mm) superantes. Flores disci flavi involucro 1-2 mm breviores. Achaenia matura dura eglandulosa vel apicem versus sparse glandulosa, glandulis saepe brevissime stipitatis, obovoideo-obpyramidali-triangularia, angulo interiore ± conspicuo laevi vel rarissime 1-3-tuberculato, angulis duobus exterioribus transverse sulcatis 3-5luberculatis vel-aculeatis, aculeis usque 1 mm altis, basi acuta apice rotundata vel 3-tuberculata 3-5 mm longa 1.5-2.5 mm diam.; latus tangentiale ± rugosum et transverse sulcatum. latera radialia sublaevia vel costa obtusa longitudinali instructa.
