Characteristics

Slender shrub or small tree, up to 5 m tall, with sparsely leafy, grooved branches, young parts white-haired. Leaves 3-foliolate, leaflets oblanceolate, folded, both surfaces gland-dotted, apex recurved, shortly pointed. Flowers in threes, in congested terminal spikes, creamy-white with conspicuous purple-tipped keel, calyx shortly hairy. Pod elliptic, membranous.
