Leaves clustered at branch tips, obovate, dark green and hairy above, undersurface with matted grey felt-like hairs and prominently ridged lateral veins that divide well before margin, margin entire or ± scalloped. Flowers small, whitish. Fruit 5-9 mm wide, on stalks 6-9 mm long, turning blackish.
