Characteristics

Stem 220-450 mm tall, slender, simple or branched, pubescent. Leaves ascending-spreading; petiole 2-6 mm long; blade 35-58 x 20-38 mm, narrowly ovate, ovate or oblong, margins and surfaces pubescent, sometimes densely so. Inflorescence umbellate, 4-6-flowered, sessile at nodes and terminal. Bracts 4.2-4.6 mm, linear, acute-acuminate, pubescent below, deciduous. Pedicels 4-8 mm long, pubescent. Sepals 4.5-7.9 x 1.8-3.0 mm, lanceolate or narrowly ovate, acute or acute-acuminate, glabrous above, pubescent below. Corolla 6.8-9.1 mm long, cup-shaped, lobed ± to the base, creamy-yellow or yellowish-green with purple spots, glabrous above or rarely puberulous towards the apex, puberulous to pubescent below; lobes 5.8-8.0 x 3.2-4.5 mm, ovate, broadly ovate or elliptic, obtuse, apex usually ± notched, margins imbricate below. Corona lobes 3.4-8.7 mm long, linear, obtuse or rarely bifid, spreading horizontally at first and then up-and-incurved over the style apex, base 1.1-1.7 mm broad with a pair of vestigial keels or teeth at the base, teeth with inner surfaces contiguous and outer surfaces diverging from each other towards the margins, apical part 0.6-1.5 mm broad. Anther wings 0.9-1.1 mm long, vertical, outer margin straight with upcurved basal angle; appendages 0.7-1.0 mm long, broadly ovate, obtuse, curved over the edge of the style apex.
