Inflorescences spicate, more than 15 cm, loose. Calyx membranous, sparsely pubescent; lobes 5, ovate-lanceolate, ca. 3 X shorter than tube, long ciliate, entire. Corolla yellow; tube ca. 2 X longer than calyx; galea curved, inconspicuously navicular, margin densely red pubescent; beak curved; lower lip scarcely shorter than galea. Filaments glabrous.
