Flowers single, axillary or in terminal, oblong, dense, compound, cymose, bracteate inflorescences, up to 200 mm long; pedicels up to 8 mm long. Corolla: tube up to 40 mm long, narrow funnel-shaped, somewhat incurved or ± straight, drooping, truncate at mouth; 5 lobes short, ovate or round; crimson or salmon-pink outside, orange to purplish inside. Flowering time Nov.-Mar.
