Corolla somewhat fleshy; tube funnel-shaped, hairy inside for upper half; lobes 4, valvate, ovate to elliptic-lanceolate.
Calyx tube oblong-ovoid, 4-angled; limb irregularly lobed, lacerate or with 2–4 indistinct triangular lobes.
Prostrate succulent perennial herbs confined to the littoral zone.
