Characteristics

Corolla 17-28 mm diam.; inside covered with fine ± spherical to conical-acute papilae; tube usually not constricted towards mouth and circular at mouth; lobes rarely with few small marginal cilia. Corona 3.0-4.5 mm tall, 3.5-5.0 mm broad, ± circular when viewed from above; outer lobes forming rounded to deeply rugose-tuberculate crest ±1 mm broad behind inner lobes; inner lobes 1-2 mm long, 0.5-1.0 mm broad, adpressed to backs of anthers, narrowly deltoid to oblanceolate, often channelled and ridged dorsally.
