Lobes of ternate leaves 2–6 cm. long, linear to irregularly elliptic or oblanceolate; apices obtuse, bases narrowly cuneate, margins ± regularly serrate to irregularly dentate with remote teeth.
Fruit probably 2 × 1·5 mm. when mature, ovoid, densely covered with obtuse vesicular hairs which obscure the ribs and other features of the fruit.
Stylopodium depressed to low-conical, characteristically purple-pigmented; styles spreading, with slightly clubbed stigmatic surfaces.
Basal leaves ternate to partially 2-ternate, rarely with simple shortly trullate lamina and regularly dentate margins.
Stem leaves reduced and confined to bases with minute linear appendages on the inflorescence.
Carpophore unknown; vittae single in the intervals and 2 on the commissural face.
Petioles 5–15 cm. long, with moderately well-developed sheathing bases.
Petals white to pale yellow-cream, with distinctly inturned apex.
Biennial herb c. 1 m. tall, with a narrow fleshy taproot.
