Slender perennial herb, probably with a creeping rhizome, 25–44 cm. tall.. Stem slender, sulcate-striate, with a few divergent branches from the base upwards, minutely pilose at least in the lower internodes.. Basal leaves pinnate with a single or 2–3 pairs of shortly petiolulate, roundish or broadly deltoid to subcordate-ovate, 5–10 mm. lateral leaflets, the terminal leaflet somewhat larger with a petiolule up to 1 cm. long, or leaves merely tripartite with a lamina to 1.7 cm. long; sparingly shortly pilose above, more densely so along the nerves beneath, rather regularly sharply toothed; petiole 2–3 cm.; sheaths narrow, membranous-margined, pilose, ± 1.5 cm.; median leaves similar but more shortly petiolate; uppermost leaves narrowly pinnately divided, rapidly reducing, sessile on the sheaths.. Umbels of 3–5 very shortly hirtellous rays 5–10 mm. long; involucre absent or of 1–2 linear bracts; partial umbels 4–8-flowered; pedicels 2–5 mm., very shortly hirtellous; involucel of 2–3 narrowly linear bracts, shorter than the fruiting pedicels.. Calyx absent.. Petals white, elliptic to obcordate, ± 1 mm., glabrous.. Ovary glabrous.. Fruit ovoid, ± 1.75 mm. long when almost mature, glabrous; stylopodia elongate-conical; styles divergent, subequalling the stylopodia.
