Stem terete, wiry, finely striate, flexuose, moderately furnished with rather long, fine, flexuose whitish hairs, divergently branched from the middle upwards, the branches with only very reduced leaves.. Basal leaves absent at time of flowering; lower stem leaves deltoid-oblong in outline, the lamina 4.5–5 cm. long, subtripinnatisect with small (to ± 4 × 1 mm.) linear-oblong, acute, mucronate ultimate segments; petiole slender, ± 4.5 cm. including the ± 1 cm., striate, pilose sheath; upper leaves rapidly reducing, sessile on the sheaths, more narrowly divided; segments of all leaves glabrous except towards the leaf axis.. Umbels of 4–5 moderately to densely crisped-hairy rays 0.8–1.4 cm. long; partial umbels 8–10-flowered; pedicels 2.5–4 mm., indumentum similar to that of the rays; involucre and involucel absent; peduncles 0.6–3 cm., crisped-hairy..
