Characteristics

Flowers pale blue or pale mauve and white, pedicels 2.5–3 mm. long, in elongated terminal racemes up to 20 cm. long with minutely appressed-pubescent rhachis and persistent bracts 2 mm. long and bracteoles 1.5 mm. long.

Seeds 2 x 1 mm., densely sericeous; caruncle c. 1 mm. long, sagittate, appendages scarcely developed.
Capsule 7 x 2.8 mm., narrowly oblanceolate-oblong in outline, ciliate on the margin.
