Annual herb, filiform, glabrous, 0.07-0.15 m high. Leaves 3-7 x 0.5-1.0 mm, linear to lorate. Flowers in elongated, terminal racemes, lax or dense, greenish white or purplish with very short pedicels, glabrous rachis, caducous bracts and bracteoles, wings 1.5-2.0 x 0.7-1.0 mm. Flowering time Oct.-Jan. Seed 0.75-1.00 mm long, ellipsoid, with minute, white, appressed hairs, without caruncle.
