Posterior sepal 2 mm. long; wing sepals 4–5 x 3.5–4.5 mm., obliquely rotund to suborbicular, densely pubescent; anterior sepals 2 mm. long, free.
Leaves 12–20 x 0.5–1.5 mm., linear to lorate, occasionally shorter and broader and somewhat crowded near the base of the stem.
Seeds 1.5 x 0.8 mm., ellipsoid, with short, white, silky hairs; caruncular appendages very short.
Upper petals 2.5 x 1.5 mm., irregularly elliptic; carina 5 x 2.5 mm., crest 1.5 mm. long.
Capsule 2 x 2 mm., suborbicular in outline, pubescent with a very narrow marginal wing.
Annual herb up to 50–60 cm. tall with slender, densely patent-pubescent stems.
