Characteristics

Perennial, slender, wiry, pubescent or glabrous shrub, 0.15-0.50 m high. Leaves 0.5-2.0(4.0) mm wide. Flowers in long, terminal racemes (up to 0.2 m), papilionaceous, dull yellowish white, pale purple or pinkish; pedicels 1-2(3) mm long; bracts 1.0-1.5(3.0) mm long; carina 6 mm long, crest 2.5-3.0 mm long. Flowering time Aug.-May. Fruit a membranous capsule, obovate elliptic, with very narrowly winged margin, glabrous. Seed ellipsoid, with white silky hairs, caruncle oblique, appendages scarcely developed.

No encontramos el tipo o algun duplicado. Por la descripcion y dibujo de la semilla parece que sea Polygala hottentotta C. Presl.
