Characteristics

Perennial herb, up to 0.3 m high; not spinescent. Stems slender, erect, densely leafy; pubescent, hairs minute, appressed. Leaves sessile; blade narrowly linear-ovate or linear-elliptic, ± 20 x 1 mm, apex acute. Flowers: in terminal racemes; wings elliptic-oblong, 6-8 x 3-4 mm, apex rounded, 3-veined, purplish blue; petals purplish pink; Nov.-Jan.
