Characteristics

Perennial, slender, semi-erect, woody herb, 0.07-0.30 m high. Leaves alternate or opposite, pale green and linear-ovate. Flowers papilionaceous, pink to purple, magenta, in axillary racemes; sepals green; corolla with wings, dark green carina and white at base. Flowering time Oct.-Mar. Seed membranous appendage of caruncle decurrent to base of seed.
