Leaflets up to 13 × 5·5 cm.; margins entire, slightly reflexed; apices shortly and bluntly acuminate to long and narrowly acuminate; bases rounded to cordate.
Leaves in terminal or subterminal groups, imparipinnate, up to 60 cm. long with 7–11 pairs of lanceolate to ovate, chartaceous to coriaceous leaflets.
Inflorescence of umbellules arranged rather irregularly in racemes grouped in terminal clusters at the ends of branches.
A tree up to 20 m., with a regularly branched axis and with pale greyish bark, especially in the younger parts.
Inferior surface glabrous to mealy with a stellate pubescence; superior surface glabrous, somewhat glossy.
Fruit at first ellipsoid, becoming broadly ovoid with maturity, up to 7 mm., distinctly ribbed, glabrous.
Racemes up to 30 cm. long, with the peduncles of the umbellules 1–4·5 cm. long.
Stylopodium shallowly conical; styles 2, persistent in fruit.
Flowers pale greenish-yellow, with pedicels 3–15 mm. long.
