Characteristics

A shrub. It grows 2-5 m tall. It can be 12 m tall. The trunk can be 37 cm across. The leaves are less than 40 cm long. They are made up of about 10 oval leaflets and one at the end. They are dark green. The flowers are in panicles at the top of the plant and ends of branches. The flowers are small and yellow or dull white. The fruit are purple to dark red and round but flattened. They are 3-4 mm long.
