Characteristics

Rosette leaves 3–6, ovate, 3–14 x 4–9mm, dark green, margins entire. Flower stem 200–35  tall, thin, wiry, 1–10-flowered. Flowers widely spaced, 2–4 open at once, externally scabrous, 8–9.5 x 2.5mm, dark green and white, apex brown. Dorsal sepal about as long as petals, both scabrous. Synsepalum flat in side view, stepped in sharply at top; frontal opening shallowly notched. Free points linear-tapered, c.  long, just exceeding top of hood. Labellum not visible in any position, narrowly elliptical, 3–3.5 x 1.5mm, red-brown and white, blunt.
