Characteristics

Rosette leaves 3–7, heart-shaped, 4–7 x 3–5mm, bright green, fleshy, margins entire. Flower stem 60–10  tall, thin, with 3–4 stem leaves 6–1  long, 1–3-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, externally smooth, 8–10 x 2mm, dark green, white and brown. Dorsal sepal much shorter than petals. Synsepalum gently curved in side view; frontal opening broadly notched. Petal tips with conspicuous horn-like points 4–  long. Free points narrowly tapered, 3–  long, just reaching top of hood. Labellum protruding when set, oblong, 3.5–4 x 1mm, curved constricted near tip, apex swollen like knob.
