Rosette leaves 3–7, heart-shaped, 4–7 x 3–5mm, bright green, fleshy, margins entire. Flower stem 60–10
 tall, thin, with 3–4 stem leaves 6–1
 long, 1–3-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, externally smooth, 8–10 x 2mm, dark green, white and brown. Dorsal sepal much shorter than petals. Synsepalum gently curved in side view; frontal opening broadly notched. Petal tips with conspicuous horn-like points 4–
 long. Free points narrowly tapered, 3–
 long, just reaching top of hood. Labellum protruding when set, oblong, 3.5–4 x 1mm, curved constricted near tip, apex swollen like knob.

Highly localised, growing in small pockets of humus among moss and coral lichens in shallow soils over rock shelves and in cracks and crevices on rock outcrops.
