Characteristics

Rosette leaves 6–9, broadly elliptic, 10–35 x 8–15mm. Flower stem 150–35  tall, 3–  across, 1–12-flowered. Stem bracts 5–6. Flowers porrect to semi-nodding, glabrous, 35–40 x 7–9mm, translucent white with reddish-brown lines and markings, shiny, synsepalum mainly brown. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 5–  long, porrect. Lateral sepals reflexed back towards ovary, about as wide as hood, flat to shallowly concave, margins thickened, glabrous; free points filamentous, 13–2  long, recurved, divergent. Petals with relatively small basal flanges, 12–13 x 5mm. Labellum narrowly elliptical, 5.5–6.5 x 3mm, reddish-brown, thick, fleshy, broadly channelled; basal lobe narrower than lamina, thick, leaning back, with numerous bristles to 1.  long; margins with 20–26 spreading to forward-pointing bristles 2–3.  long.
