Characteristics

Rosette leaves 4–8, elliptic, 25–35 x 7–10mm. Flower stem 100–22  tall, 2–  across, 2–8-flowered. Flowers porrect, 25–30 x 7–8mm, translucent white with green or brown lines and chequered patterns, numerous transparent hairs on most parts. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 8–1  long, upcurved. Lateral sepals wider than hood, concave, margins thickened, hairy; free points filamentous, 10–1  long, deflexed or curved forwards, parallel or divergent. Petals with relatively large basal flanges, 10–12 x 3–3.5mm. Labellum oblong-ovate, 4–5 x 2mm, green to brown, densely covered with short hairs, thick, fleshy, shallowly channelled, slightly constricted near base; marginal bristles 12–20, 1–  long; basal lobe thick, with numerous hairs and small bristles.
