Characteristics

Rosette leaves 5–8, ovate to elliptic, 6–20 x 3–8mm, green, margins entire. Flower stem 50–16  tall, 1–  across, 3–14-flowered. Sterile bracts 4–6. Flowers crowded, green with faint darker green stripes, 6.5–9 x 3–3.5mm. Lateral sepals deeply pouched, 4–5 x 5–  when flattened. Petals 5–6 x 3–3.5mm, translucent green, margins with siliceous bead-like cells. Labellum elliptic, 2–2.2 x 2mm, pale green with dark greenish-black appendage c.1.8 x 1.3mm, with short blunt protruding central ridge.
