Characteristics

Rosette leaves 5–10, ovate to elliptic, 5–25 x 3–8mm, dark green, shiny, margins entire. Flower stem 70–16  tall, 3–4.  across, 5–16-flowered. Sterile bracts 3–5. Flowers densely crowded, pale green with darker green lines, 10–13 x 5mm, shiny. Lateral sepals deeply pouched, 6–7 x 6–  when flattened. Petals 7–8.5 x 4mm, light green with 3 darker veins, margins with bead-like siliceous cells. Labellum obovate, 2.5–3 x 2.5mm, pale green with darker green appendage recurved nearly at right angles, c.2 x 1mm, with thickened margins and thick blunt central ridge.
