Rosette leaves 5–9, ovate, dark blue green, 4–12 x 3–8mm, margins flat to irregular. Flower stem 50–20 tall, with 3–5 stem leaves to 25 x 4mm. Flower erect, 20–25 x 7–9mm, white and green or brown to reddish. Dorsal sepal with short tapered point. Sinus gently curved in side view, broadly and shallowly notched in front view. Free points filiform, 15–2 long, erect or tips curved forwards. Labellum curved, protruding from sinus when set, 13–15 x 3.5–4mm, green to brown or reddish, tapered to apex.
Widespread and locally common from coast to inland areas, growing in coastal scrub and heathy forest in sands, mallee and broombush communities in red loam over sheet limestone, stunted mallee on sand and Callitris woodland in freely draining sandy soil and clay loam.
