Characteristics

Leaves 4–6, usually in loose rosette, 30–80 x 10–20mm, bright green, margins entire. Flower stem 120–20  tall, slender, fleshy, smooth. Flower erect, 35–40 x 16–20 mm, translucent white with green stripes and suffusions, apex of hood drawn out and obliquely erect to erect. Dorsal sepal longer than petals, tapered into long point. Lateral sepals loosely embracing galea and separated from petals by wide side gap. Sinus nearly flat in side view, deeply notched in front view. Free points tapered, 22–3  long, erect or curved forwards, reaching well above hood. Petals tapering to long points. Labellum curved, protruding prominently from sinus when set, 18–22 x 3–3.5mm, curved, dark.
