Characteristics

Rosette leaves, 3–6, ovate, 3–12 x 3–6mm, dull green, margins entire. Flower stem 80–35  tall, sturdy, wiry, 1–7-flowered. Flowers moderately crowded, shiny, 1–3 open at once, externally smooth, 10–13 x 4.5–5mm, base green and white, apex dark brown to blackish-brown. Dorsal sepal about as long as petals, both smooth. Synsepalum flat in side view, curved inwards at top; frontal opening deeply notched. Free points narrowly tapered, 2–2.5mm, just reaching above top of hood. Labellum not visible through sinus in any position, elliptical, 4.5–5.5 x 1.8–2.2mm, dark brown and white, pointed.
