Characteristics

Rosette leaves 5–12, ovate, 5–14 x 5–12mm, crowded, greyish or bluish, margins entire. Flower stem 50–15  tall, scabrous, with 4–6 spreading stem leaves to 40 x 7mm. Flower erect, 25–30 x 10–12mm, translucent white with bright red or brownish stripes and suffusions (sometimes green). Dorsal sepal tip tapered, 1–  long. Sinus curved in side view, flat in front view with central notch. Free points filiform, 20–2  long, erect or tips curled forwards. Labellum curved, protruding prominently from sinus when set, 15–20 x 3–3.5mm, dark red, apex narrowed.
