Characteristics

Rosette leaves 3–5, ovate to elliptic, 4–12 x 3–8mm, bright green, margins entire. Flower stem 30–14  tall, glabrous to sparsely scabrous; stem leaves two. Flower stiffly erect, 11–13 x 4mm, translucent white with green stripes and suffusions, apex sometimes brownish. Dorsal sepal with short tapered point, about as long as petals. Sinus shallowly curved in side view, shallowly notched in front view with dark green central area. Free points thickened, 13–1  long, often yellowish or brownish. Labellum hidden, straight with a curved apex, 4–4.5 x 1.5mm, oblong, green to brown and white, margins hairy.

Localised in small colonies in a band c.25km from the coast, growing in moss pads on granite sheets and domes, under shrubs near streams and occasionally around winter-wet swamps.
