Characteristics

Rosette leaves 5–8, narrowly elliptic to obovate, 8–20 x 4–8mm, margins minutely ciliate. Flower stem 50–14  tall, 2–  across, 1–10-flowered. Stem bracts 3–4. Flowers semi-erect when opening, becoming porrect to nodding, on stalks to 1  long, 30–35 x 7–9mm, transparent with pale green and dark green bands. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 8–1  long, porrect to decurved. Lateral sepals slightly wider than hood, shallowly concave, margins flat, glabrous or with few hairs; free points filamentous, 18–2  long, decurved to incurved, parallel or divergent. Petals with large basal flanges that do not meet, 10–13 x 3.5–4mm. Labellum elliptical, 4.5–5 x 2.5mm, thin-textured, green, broadly channelled, tip boat-bow-like; margins shallowly scalloped (appearing wavy), with 16–22 spreading bristles c.0.  long; two prominent bristles c.  long projecting from near base; basal lobe flat, glabrous.
