Characteristics

Rosette leaves 3–7, elliptic, 15–35 x 8–12mm. Flower stem 80–15  tall, 3–  across, 1–6-flowered. Sterile bracts 2–3. Flowers porrect to semi-nodding, glabrous, 30–35 x 10–12mm, translucent white with red, brown or pink markings and transparent petals. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 4–  long, upcurved. Lateral sepals much wider than hood, concave, glabrous, margins thickened; free points filamentous, 8–1  long, weakly curved forwards, parallel. Petals with narrow basal flanges, 14–17 x 4.5–5mm. Labellum elliptic, 6–7.5 x 3mm, reddish with darker stripes, margins scalloped between each bristle, tip thickened; margins with 16–20 bristles c.  long; basal lobe small, sloping.
