Characteristics

Rosette leaves 6–10, narrowly elliptic, 15–25 x 6–9mm. Flower stem 90–15  tall, 3–  across, 1–8-flowered. Stem bracts 2–3. Flowers porrect, 30–40 x 10–12mm, translucent white with dark brown lines and chequered markings. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 8–1  long, porrect. Lateral sepals slightly wider than hood, deeply concave, margins, densely hairy; free points filamentous, 14–2  long, decurved or incurved, parallel. Petals with small basal flanges, 17–19 x 5–6mm. Labellum oblong-elliptic, 7–9 x 3–3.5mm, thin-textured, brown, tip upcurved; margins scalloped (appearing wavy), with 18–24 spreading bristles 1–1.  long; two prominent bristles c.  long projecting from near base; basal lobe thin, sloping backwards, sparsely hairy and with few short bristles.
