Rosette leaves 5–8, narrowly elliptic, 18–30 × 5–8 mm. Flower stem 100–200 mm tall, 2–3 mm across, 1–7-flowered. Flowers porrect, 30–35 × 9–11 mm, transparent with green or light brown lines and markings. Dorsal sepal point filamentous, 20–30 mm long, porrect. Lateral sepals slightly wider than hood, flat to shallowly concave, margins densely hairy; free points filamentous, 20–35 mm long, decurved or incurved, parallel. Petals with small basal flanges, 15–16 × 5–6 mm. Labellum ovate to obovate, 5.5–7 × 3–3.5 mm, thin-textured, flat, dark green; margins shallowly scalloped (appearing wavy), with 18–24 spreading bristles c. 1 mm long; 2 prominent bristles c. 3 mm long projecting from near base; basal lobe thin, sloping backwards, glabrous or with a few short bristles.
Localised; found growing under shrubs on slopes in open forest and woodland and on rock ledges and crevices in freely draining sand over sandstone, gravel and clay loam; also found more commonly among shrubs in mallee communities in sandy soil.
